Nestled in the heart of Channapatna – Karnataka, also known as “Town of toys”, Suryodhaya Handicrafts is not just a business; it’s a heartfelt commitment to celebrate wooden craftsmanship and uplift local artisans. Our journey is a fusion of creativity, heritage, and a deep sense of responsibility toward our artisans and our society.
The origin of these toys is dated back to the reign of Tipu Sultan who invited the artisans from Persia in order to train the local artisans in the art of wooden toy making. These toys have been given Geographical Indication tag by Government of India.
